Visit Visa for Canada
Most people think that getting a visa with a fresh new passport might be really hard. But with
proper documentation work you can even get it just like that!
Basically, Canada is offering two types of visas:
1) Temporary Resident Visa (T.R.V)
2) Permanent Resident Visa (P.R.V)
If you are applying for Tourism purposes or visiting someone you need to get a Temporary
Resident Visa. In this type of visa, you get a 6 months of time period to stay in Canada, but you
can extend it if you want to and you can also change your visa type from Temporary Resident
Visa to Permanent Resident visa in Canada.
Now let’s see how much it costs. The charges of tourist visa for per person are 100 Canadian
Dollars (10600 PKR). If you are traveling with your family, it’s going to cost you 500 Canadian
Dollars (53000 PKR) for five persons (or more).
Here is an important point that you need to keep in your mind that you have to submit all of your
documents in a Visa Facilitation Services Centre (V.F.S).
V.F.S Centre service charges are 85 Canadian Dollar (9000 PKR.) for one person and 175
Canadian Dollars (18000 PKR.) for family which includes biometric and photographs fees
Required Documents for Tourist Visa:
1) Visa Application Form
3) National Identity Card
4) Family Registration Certificate
5) Covering Letter
6) Bank Statement
7) Job/Business Proof
How to Apply:
Go to www.canada.ca download the application form and after filling the form print that out. If
you have any relative living in Canada s/he can send you an invitation letter which you have to
attach with all the other documents and if you don’t have an invitation than you need to book
hotel where you will be staying and you need to attach your booking details with documents.
You also need to attach your bank statement of 6 months
You need to have at least 5,00,000 PKR to 7,00,000 PKR in your personal bank account for the
expenses of your traveling. If you have more credit in your account, then your chances of getting
the visa are high. If you are a business owner, then you should attach your business profit details
along with the documents. If you are an employee, then you have to attach your salary details
and a confirmation letter from your employer. If you are a shareholder, property owner or any
type of investor and you can provide details about your Assets then there is 100 percent chances
of getting your desired visa.
Now you have to write a covering letter in which you will convince your visa officer that you
will return before your visa expires and you are not planning to stay in Canada illegally. Also,
you have to tell the visa officer about the purpose of your visit, which city are you planning to
stay and what places are you’re going to visit.
After submitting all the documents, you need to wait for Canadian embassy to call.
The embassy may arrange an interview but sometimes you get your visa without any interview.
